Sierra Leone is at the 8º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of Sierra Leone has been in force since 2013 and with it has earned 122 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Sierra Leone is in one of the top positions of the ranking, as it is a country with a good legislative framework in relation to transparency and access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
