Maldives is at the 22º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of Maldives has been in force since 2014 and with it has earned 112 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Maldives is ranked 22, as its transparency law adequately guarantees access to information, when compared with other countries.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
