Malta at No. 80 in the RTI Rating

The transparency law of Malta has been in force since 2008 and with it has earned 78 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Malta is now ranked 80 in the transparency ranking formed by 136 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
