Japan at No. 90 in the RTI Rating

The transparency law of Japan has been in force since 1999 and with it has earned 65 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Japan ranks at number 90, de los 111 del RTI Rating. It is one of the countries with legislation less prone to guaranteeing the right to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
