Iran is at the 97º position of the Global Right to Information Rating

The transparency law of Iran has been in force since 2009 and with it has earned 71 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Iran ranks at number 97, de los 133 del RTI Rating. It is one of the countries with legislation less prone to guaranteeing the right to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
