Belize is in 46º place in the ranking of transparency

The transparency law of Belize has been in force since 1994 and with it has earned 85 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Belize is now ranked 46 in the transparency ranking formed by 95 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
