Germany, the country with the most expensive electricity in Europe

The average price of electricity in Germany, in June of 2019, has been 0.3088€ per kilowatt hour. Electricity price has increased € 0.0088 kWh, 2.93% since the last semester. Meanwhile, the average price of electricity without taxes in Germany in that period was € 0.1473 per kilowatt hour, compared to € 0.1378 kWh in the previous semester. The price of electricity excluding taxes increased by 6.89%.

In the last twelve months the price of electricity in Germany has increased by 6.82%.

From 2007 until now, the highest price of electricity in Germany has been € 0.3088 kWh, in June of 2019, while in June of 2007, electricity price was € 0.2025 kWh, its minimum price in this period.
