CO2 emissions, in Turkmenistan in 2018, have fallen 0.748 megatons, 1.12% compared to 2017.
CO2 emissions in 2018 were 65.817 megatons, making Turkmenistan is the 135th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.

However, in the last five years, total emissions have decreased in Turkmenistan, as have emissions per capita, then the situation is improving.
