CO2 emissions in 2020 were 2.376 megatons, making Niger is the 39th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Niger, have not changed in 2020, in which they have been 0.1 tons per inhabitant.
