Employment is the generation of value from the activity produced by a person. There are different types of employment:
- Salaried employment: In this type of employment the employee (worker) and the employer have a contract whereby the former sells his labor force and in exchange receives a remuneration or salary.
- Self-employment: In this type of employment, the person works independently or for his or her own company and is paid for the services he or she provides.
