Uzbekistan - Religions

Islam is the Uzbekistan's top religion, around 91% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 97.5%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Uzbekistan population, has dropped to 97.5%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 88% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 91% follow it.
