Christianity, with 77.36% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. The entire population, 100%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Uruguay population, has remained to 100%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 73.78% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 77.36% follow it.

The Uruguay’s second-largest religion is Other Religions, accounts for about 20.65% of the population.
