Christianity grow in Uganda while believers dropped

Christianity is the Uganda's top religion, around 71.47% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.98%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Uganda population, has dropped to 99.98%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 68.06% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 71.47% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Uganda, accounts for about 16.98% of the population.
