Islam is the most common religion in Sudan

Islam, with 70% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. The entire population, 100%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Sudan population, has increase to 100%. As to Islam it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 67.51% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 70% follow it.

The Sudan’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 16.77% of the population.
