Islam believers fall in Sudan

Islam is the Sudan's top religion, around 67.51% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.15%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Sudan population, has dropped to 99.15%. As to Islam it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 72.71% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 67.51% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Sudan, accounts for about 16.05% of the population.
