Buddhism grow in Singapore while believers dropped

Buddhism, with 42.52% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very great percentage of Singaporeans, 85.17%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Singapore population, has dropped to 85.17%. As to Buddhism it has increased, the previous survey recorded 14.52% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 42.52% follow it.

The Singapore’s second-largest religion is Islam, accounts for about 14.9% of the population.
