The latest survey data indicate believers share of Nepal population, has increase to 99.7%. As to Hindu it has decreased, the previous survey recorded 73.79% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 71.95% follow it.
The second-largest religion in Nepal is Buddhism, accounts for about 12% of the population.
