Hindu grow in Nepal while believers dropped

Hindu is the Nepal's top religion, around 74% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.78%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Nepal population, has dropped to 99.78%. As to Hindu it has increased, the previous survey recorded 73.45% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 74% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Nepal, accounts for about 11.58% of the population.
