Mozambique - Religions

Animist Religions, with 46% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.9%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Mozambique population, has dropped to 99.9%. As to Animist Religions it has increased, the previous survey recorded 44.08% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 46% follow it.

The Mozambique’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 38.83% of the population.
