Republic of Macedonia - Religions

Christianity is the North Macedonia's top religion, around 65.15% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.52%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of North Macedonia population, has increase to 98.52%. As to Christianity it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 61.95% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 65.15% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in North Macedonia, accounts for about 33.33% of the population.
