Guyana - Religions

Christianity, with 55.14% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.08%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Guyana population, has dropped to 99.08%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 53.73% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 55.14% follow it.

The Guyana’s second-largest religion is Hindu, accounts for about 30.96% of the population.
