Guyana - Religions

Christianity, with 53.73% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. The entire population, 100%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Guyana population, has increase to 100%. As to Christianity it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 53.1% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 53.73% follow it.

The Guyana’s second-largest religion is Hindu, accounts for about 34% of the population.
