Islam grow in Guinea while believers dropped

Islam is the Guinea's top religion, around 64.04% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.87%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Guinea population, has dropped to 99.87%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 55.74% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 64.04% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Guinea, accounts for about 34.34% of the population.
