Christianity grow in Cameroon while believers dropped

Christianity is the Cameroon's top religion, around 49.95% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.8%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Cameroon population, has dropped to 99.8%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 46.29% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 49.95% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Cameroon, accounts for about 24% of the population.
