Slovenia has a very high suicide rate

By 1988, suicides in Slovenia increased by 14 people to at 632 suicides In Slovenia, on average, at least one suicide happens every day.

In Slovenia there were 31.7 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, well above the world average of 15.07 suicides per 100,000 people.

Slovenia has a very high suicide rate compared to other countries.

Of the 632 recorded suicide cases in 1988, 461 were men suicides and 171 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 47.6 per 100,000 men and for women 16.6 per 100,000 female. In spite of this, it is one of the countries with the highest female suicide rate in the world.
