Samoa - Intentional self-harm

In 2002 occurred 15 suicides in Samoa. This year, 1 fewer people committed suicide than in 2001.

Samoa had 8.5 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.78 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 15 recorded suicide cases in 2002, 12 were men suicides and 3 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 12.15 per 100,000 men and for women 3.54 per 100,000 female.
