Suicides decreased in New Zealander

In 1981 around 320 suicides occurred in New Zealander, 17 less than in 1980.

New Zealander reported 10 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 15.3 self-harm per 100.000 people.

New Zealander, has a relatively low rate of suicide per inhabitants.

Of the 320 recorded suicide cases in 1981, 241 were men suicides and 79 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 15.2 per 100,000 men and for women 4.9 per 100,000 female.
