Kuwait has a low suicide rate compared to other countries.
Of the 58 recorded suicide cases in 2003, 45 were men suicides and 13 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 3.61 per 100,000 men and for women 1.49 per 100,000 female.
Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Kuwait suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 29 homicides in Kuwait, suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 2 suicides.
