Finland has a very high suicide rate compared to other countries.
Of the 1,143 recorded suicide cases in 1981, 904 were men suicides and 239 were women. Men have a high rate of death by suicide compared with women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 38.9 per 100,000 men and for women 9.6 per 100,000 female.
