Democratic Republic of the Congo reported 10.07 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 10.53 self-harm per 100.000 people.
Of the 5,468 recorded suicide cases in 2004, 3,863 were men suicides and 1,605 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 14.25 per 100,000 men and for women 5.79 per 100,000 female.
