In 2018 the life expectancy in Ukraine decreased to 73.2 years.
That year, the life expectancy for women was 78 years and for men 68.1 years.Ukraine’s position worsened with respect to the 194 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 97th in 2017 to 99th in 2018.
If we look at the change in life expectancy in Ukraine over the past several years, we find that it is lower than in 2017, when it was 73.3 years, which is the opposite of what happens compared to 2008, when it was 68 years.
