Life expectancy improves in Iceland

In 2017 the life expectancy in Iceland increased to 82.6 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 84.3 years and for men 81.1 years.

Iceland’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 19th in 2016 to 13th in 2017.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in Iceland over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2016, when it was 82.2 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2007, when it was 81.5 years.
