Life expectancy increases in China

In 2022 the life expectancy in China increased to 78.59 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 81.34 years and for men 75.96 years.

China’s position worsened with respect to the 194 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 41th in 2021 to 43th in 2022.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in China over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2021, when it was 78.21 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2012, when it was 76.19 years.
