The annual variation rate of the CPI in Venezuela in April of 2016 was 232.9%, 233 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 14.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 50.2%

We must highlight the increase of 21.1% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 372.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 1.4%, and an interannual variation of 46.9%.
