Venezuelans CPI increased up to 184.8% year-on-year in January of 2016

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Venezuela in January of 2016 was 184.8%, 39 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 9.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 9.3%

We must highlight the increase of 13% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 305.6%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 3%, and an interannual variation of 21.7%.
