Uruguayans CPI increased up to 7.6% year-on-year in April of 2023

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Uruguay in April of 2023 was 7.6%, 3 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2023 is 4.3%

We must highlight the increase of 1.9% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 13.1%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance of 0%, and an interannual variation of 5.2%.
