Ugandans CPI increased up to 5.9% year-on-year in June of 2016

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Uganda in June of 2016 was 5.9%, 6 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 1.2%

We must highlight the increase of 5.6% in the prices of Education, until its interannual rate reached 17.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Miscellaneous goods and services of -1.5%, and an interannual variation of 6.8%.
