Tanzania: CPI goes up in July of 2011

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in July of 2011 was 13%, 21 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.6%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2011 is 10.6%

We must highlight the increase of 3.5% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 21.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0%, and an interannual variation of 4.3%.
