Mexicans CPI goes down to 16.8%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in July of 1989 was 16.8%, 8 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1989 is 10.4%

We must highlight the increase of 2.5% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 50.4%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -0.9%, and an interannual variation of 1.7%.
