Mexicans CPI goes down to 34.6%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in January of 1989 was 34.6%, 171 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1989 is 2.5%

We must highlight the increase of 7.1% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 73.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -0.8%, and an interannual variation of 25.5%.
