Mexicans CPI increased up to 125% year-on-year in May of 1987

We must highlight the increase of 11.2% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 163.5%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 3.9%, and an interannual variation of 91.5%.
