Mexicans CPI goes down to 17.8%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Mexico in April of 1979 was 17.8%, 3 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.9%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 1979 is 7.4%

We must highlight the increase of 2.3% in the prices of Clothing and footwear, until its interannual rate reached 23.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 0.4%, and an interannual variation of 16%.
