January of 2023 CPI went up in Lebanon

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Lebanon in January of 2023 was 123.5%, 15 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 8.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2023 is 8.4%

We must highlight the increase of 20% in the prices of Miscellaneous goods and services, until its interannual rate reached 140%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0%, and an interannual variation of 191.4%.
