The annual variation rate of the CPI in Japan in May of 2024 was 2.9%, 4 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2024 is 1.2%

We must highlight the increase of 1.4% in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance, until its interannual rate reached 3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of -0.8%, and an interannual variation of 0.4%.
