Ghana: CPI goes up in May of 2016

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Ghana in May of 2016 was 18.9%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 9.9%

We must highlight the increase of 1.6% in the prices of Education, until its interannual rate reached 32.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of 0.6%, and an interannual variation of 35.7%.
