CPI falls in August of 2013 in Egypt

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Egypt in August of 2013 was 9.8%, 5 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.7%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2013 is 8.9%

We must highlight the increase of 3.1% in the prices of Recreation and culture, until its interannual rate reached 11.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -3.7%, and an interannual variation of 1.9%.
