In August, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 11.62% with respect to August of 2012. In total, 79,653 cars were registered and 2,477,829 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 8.57% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of August is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 13,716, 14.98% more than in August of 2012.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 65,937, which represents a figure of 10.94% more than in August of 2012.
