Zambia repeats minimum wage

In 2015, the national minimum wage in Zambia remained fixed at €0.1 per month, that is 1 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

If we look at the minimum salary in Zambian kwacha, which is the official currency in Zambia, we can see that, this year, it was 0.7 Zambian kwacha and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.

If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Zambia is in 111 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 112 of the list.
