Since June 2014, the national minimum wage in Serbia remained fixed at €233 per month, that is 2,796 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Serbian dinars, which is the official currency in Serbia, we can see that, this year, it was 26,941.2 Serbian dinars and accordingly, the national minimum wage has fallen 34.6 Serbian dinars per month, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Serbia is in 52 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 108 of the list.
