In 2021, the national minimum wage in Belarus remained fixed at €119.1 per month, that is 1,429 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Belarusian rubles, which is the official currency in Belarus, we can see that, this year, it was 375 Belarusian rubles and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2020 which was 7.4%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Belarus is in 91 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 120 of the list.
